Buying a plot in DHA Karachi
Sizes, phases, plot attributes and verification — the things worth understanding before you shortlist.
DHA Karachi plots are measured in square yards (or “gaz”), not marla or kanal — that is a Lahore/Islamabad convention. The common residential bands are 120, 250, 500, 1000 and 2000 sq yd, with commercial plots typically from 120 sq yd up. We hold files across every band; tell us your size and phase and we will send what is currently on the market.
It depends on your goal. DHA Phase 8 is the sea-facing prestige corridor and the highest-appreciation belt (Zone A, the creek belt, and the seafront). Phases 5–7 are established and centrally connected; Phase 1 holds rare large “original” estate plots. We will map the trade-offs — price, appreciation history, how ready the lane is to build — against what you actually want before you shortlist.
Yes — plot attributes move price materially. A corner plot has two road faces and usually trades at a 10–15% premium; a west-open plot catches the evening breeze and is prized in Karachi’s climate; wider road frontage and better zone position also lift value. We factor all of this into the valuation so you are not overpaying for — or underpricing — an attribute.
